Condiments - Cheats - "Lick's GUK" sauce

Just because I miss Lick's grilled chicken on a bun smothered in GUK on both sides which is impossible to get in Newfoundand. Oh and because I don't think the bottled stuff you buy in the grocery store is the same. 

Lick's GUK sauce

1/2 cup mayo
2 tbsp relish
1/2 tsp dry mustad
1/2 tsp garic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp celery salt

mix and refrigerate in sealed container for 2-3 weeks.

    Used to work there and make Guk many years ago. There is one ingredient that you forgot - worchestershire sauce ( which also gives it the greyish colour)

  3. If you want to replicate the bottled sauce, substitute Miracle Whip for the mayo, cut the celery salt to 1/4 tsp and add 3 dashes of Worcestershire sauce. As this recipe is written the celery salt is too pronounced and it's not sweet enough. Excellent job!

  6. MY daughter's friend is 15 and they have gone on road trips just to find out where you can still purchase this.... I guess i'll just tell them to save the gas and go to a grocery store for ingredients and make it themselves.... so depressed !!!!
